Working Principle
The potato seed planter completes the four basic steps of furrowing, seeding, covering, and compaction in a continuous sequence through a series of coordinating components. Its core component is a chain with numerous “seed scoops” that circulates within a seed box. As it passes the bottom of the seed box, it scoops up a potato seed tuber and moves it upwards with the chain. During this movement, brushes, airflow, or gravity ensure that each scoop carries only one seed tuber. When the chain reaches the top, the seed scoops flip, and the seed tuber falls under gravity, precisely dropping into the furrow through a seed guide tube.
