Working principle
An engine (internal combustion engine or electric motor) powers the reciprocating lawn mower, converting the rotational motion into the reciprocating linear motion of the cutter through a crank connecting rod mechanism. The moving blade, in conjunction with the fixed blade, cuts grass stems with a high-frequency reciprocating motion to complete the mowing operation.
