AN4GL-1B whole pole sugarcane harvester
The whole stem sugarcane harvester is an agricultural machine that can maintain the integrity of sugarcane stems during the harvesting process, mainly used for root cutting, leaf stripping, and collection operations of sugarcane. Suitable for small and medium-sized plots in the main sugarcane producing areas of southern China. This model has the core advantages of lightweight, fully hydraulic control, and whole-pole harvesting, aiming to improve harvesting efficiency, reduce sugarcane loss, and protect soil structure.
-
Cane Uplifting and Base Cutting:
The cane uplifting mechanism raises the lodged or leaning sugarcane, while the cutting mechanism severs the stalks at the base. -
Leaf Stripping and Cleaning:
The leaf stripping unit removes the sugarcane leaves. Air separation or mechanical screening devices then separate the leaves from the stalks. -
Collection and Loading:
The cleaned stalks are conveyed into the cane collection hopper. Once full, the cane is unloaded into transport vehicles.

Why need a whole pole sugarcane harvester?
Whole-stalk harvesting preserves the integrity of the sugarcane stalk by cutting it at the base during harvest, keeping the entire stalk intact. In contrast, chopped harvesters cut the cane into smaller segments. Whole-stalk harvesting effectively reduces sugar loss, as the intact stalk minimizes juice leakage during cutting, which is beneficial for subsequent storage and processing.

Main Functional Components
-
Cane Uplifting Mechanism: Lifts lodged or leaning sugarcane to an upright position in the field, facilitating subsequent cutting and conveying operations.
-
Cutting Mechanism: Utilizes dual circular disc blades or conical spiral rollers to cut the cane at the base. Cutting depth is adjustable, typically 2 to 5 cm below ground level.
-
Leaf Stripping Mechanism: Employs rubber finger brushes or drum-type devices to remove leaves from the cane stalks, reducing the impurity rate.
-
Conveying and Collection System: Transports the cleaned cane stalks to a collection hopper or transport vehicle for efficient loading and transfer.
